Panhellenic Primary Recruitment PNM Video Guidelines

While not a requirement to participate in Panhellenic recruitment, all potential members have the option to create an introduction video. An introduction video may help chapters learn more about a potential member during virtual recruitment that limits in-person interaction. These videos are not mean to be heavily produced and are truly an authentic way to provide additional information about the potential member.

Here are guidelines for these videos:

  • The video should be 1-2 minutes in length (these are not mean to be longer than that)
  • The video should be recorded on a smartphone or similar device. A professional or third party video/service provides should NOT be used to create or edit these videos.
  • Backgrounds of videos should be neutral, and videos can be recorded in one’s home, outside, in a car, etc.
  • The video should include only the potential member and not props.
  • The video should include the potential member’s name and hometown and then a response to two or three of the following questions:
    • What motivated you to participate in the Panhellenic recruitment process?
    • What are your favorite activities or hobbies?
    • What is a talent or skill you have?
    • What will you be studying at CSU and why?
    • Why did you chose CSU?
    • The theme for recruitment this fall is “Fuel your Fire,” which reflects how sorority membership can fuel our passions and personal excellence. We want to know what fuels you

In order to upload your introduction video you’ll need to log back into the Campus Director account that you made during registration. You can gain access to that account at https://mycampusdirector2.com/. You’ll be able to add the link to your video and make any additional adjustments to your registration as needed.

Additionally, when uploading your video it is best to first upload it to YouTube. This is the easiest way to retrieve a link for your video to be added to your account.

Panhellenic recruitment coaches have created example videos in case it’s helpful. You can view these videos here.
