Accountability Resources
Accountability is an important component of the fraternity and sorority experience. Accountability can occur formally and informally and as in an opportunity to be responsible for meeting organizational values and expectations. Accountability allows individual members and chapters to grow and learn..
Connections to CLIMB
- Accountability processes create opportunities to deepen relationships as members work to build connections as they understand collective values congruence and what that means for behavioral expectations.
- Individuals and chapters engaged in accountability processes have the opportunity to make meaning of their experience in ways that ultimately lead to improvement and growth.

The Responsible Action Exemption is a part of the Student Conduct Code managed by the student resolution center. The Responsible Action Exemption policy currently exists for students seeking medical assistance for themselves or others for emergency situations that result from alcohol and other drug abuse. It applies to both students and organizations and is an important resource for those considering how to support the health and safety from members and those that may attend fraternity/sorority events or programs.
