Tailgating Summit

Tailgating on home football game days will return with some changes in the 2026 season.

To ensure our community is well-prepared for tailgating events held this fall, we are hosting a Tailgating Summit on Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 4-6pm, Lory Student Center University Ballroom.

Any groups that plan to host tailgate events are required to have their president, social chair, and risk manager (or other relevant, applicable officers) attend  to have tailgate events confirmed. All other chapters that may have members attending tailgates and that want to be part of the conversation, are also invited to attend. Specific councils may provide context regarding chapter attendance in addition to what we’ve outlined here.
