Mission Statement

The purpose of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. shall be to open doors of opportunities to the Latinas of our community. The primary focuses is academic excellence and meeting the needs of Latina women in higher education. Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. also promotes the advancement of Latinas through various campus activities and community services and provides an environment for personal growth within a unit of sisterhood. Lambda Theta Nu sorority, Inc.’s priorities, however, will be placed upon academic excellence and community service.

Latina Youth Leadership Program: Conference is designed to create a fun and safe environment where middle and/or high school girls can take college preparedness workshops and engage in discussions about academic issues affecting Latina women and how to overcome those barriers.
Latina Scholarship: Our chapter is responsible for raising money to provide financial assistance to deserving Latina high school seniors for their first year of collegiate studies.
Literacy Grams: Grants provided by our sisterhood to up-and-coming non-profit organizations that have programs dedicated to promoting literacy and access to education, especially within the Latino community
