Violation Description:

Chapter members behaved in a disruptive manner during potential member interviews in the CSU Morgan Library.

Charges:

• Disruptive Behavior: Classroom or Residential Communities

Sanctions:

• Disciplinary Probation through September 23, 2023
• Restricted from use of Morgan Library for non-academic activities through February 6, 2023
• Restriction from use of Kappa Sigma facility for recruitment interviews through spring 2023
• Compliance with all IFC Judicial Board sanctions for same behavior

Violation Description:

Members of the organization hosted a BYOB event that was contacted by Fort Collins Police Services and issued a ticket for a noise ordinance violation.

Charges:

• Disruptive Behavior: Classroom or Residential Communities
• Violation of Law or University Policy

Sanctions:

• Deeper Dive: Understanding Impact Workshop with at least 75% of the organization in attendance
• Review of risk management and event policies, including a compare and contrast between the Joint Policy on Risk Management and Kappa Sigma risk management policies
  • Includes a presentation to chapter membership on these topics with 75% of the chapter in attendance
