Registration has closed for the 2022 Fall Clean Up program!
The City of Fort Collins Neighborhood Services Office and Off-Campus Life at Colorado State University are teaming up for the 18th Annual Fall Clean Up event. The program will kick off at 9:00am Saturday, November 5th, throughout the Fort Collins community and will run until 2:00pm.
Each year, Neighborhood Services and Off-Campus Life has the privilege of reading many thank you notes from elderly residents sharing that the yard maintenance done during Fall Clean Up makes it possible for them get their homes ready for the fall and winter season.
Additionally, the residents often share that their favorite part of the event is the chance to chat and laugh with students they otherwise would not have met: “I was so impressed with the spirit of giving, teamwork, and leadership. Thanks to the future of America. They were great and I’m grateful!” “These were a wonderful group that did a beautiful job with smiles, laughter, and very hard work! What a pleasure to have them!” “Words alone can’t describe how grateful I am. These volunteers not only did a great job, they did so with humility and thanked me for letting them care for my yard.”
We need your help Fraternity & Sorority Life! Each year, your organizations make up the vast majority of volunteer teams. It is because of your assistance that we are able to complete the 300+ neighbor projects. Please don’t miss out on helping a neighbor in need this year! To volunteer, your chapter should sign up at http://ocl.colostate.edu/fall-clean-up. The volunteer registration deadline is October 14th.
