I am able to attend the Council Leadership Program Kick-Off Event on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 6pm in LSC 376-378

I am able to participate in the Fraternity & Sorority Leadership Institute the weekend of January 19-21, 2024.

I am able to attend (if required) the Association of Leadership & Values (AFLV) Conference held February 29 - March 3, 2024.

All listed events are required for council officers. With the exception of AFLV, which may only be required for certain officers. Individual officers participate in AFLV at no cost to themselves.

Council Officers are expected to effectively balance and manage their academic work , personal life, and chapter responsibilities, while completing the responsibilities of their council position. The president role is consistent with the current president job responsibilities and includes additional risk management responsibilities. The Internal Vice President covers membership development, community service, scholarship/academics, and financial responsibilities. The External Vice President role includes social media, outreach, liaison to other councils and the wider CSU community, and historian responsibilities. The Secretary role includes administrative needs includes agendas/minutes, event attendance, communication with constituents, managing council documents, and email correspondence. The Parliamentarian manages Parliamentary Procedure at council meetings, manages the council constitution and other governing documents, is the conduct officer, and manages election procedures.
