Incident Description:

Members of the organization engaged in hazing behavior that included blindfolding/kidnapping members, assigning “pledge jobs”, and requiring them to called members “sir”.

Charges:
  • Abusive Behavior: Hazing
  • Violation of Law or University Policy
Sanctions:
  • New member education review, including sharing a new education program and plan, approval of that plan by staff, and presenting that plan to all chapter members.
  • Presentations/Training: The chapter must host a presentation on the topic of the continuum of hazing harm. At least 80% of all chapter members must attend.
