FSL Student Intern Application

Thank you for your interest in an FSL Student Intern positions. We are currently seeking several student interns for the 2024-2025 Academic Year:

  • Elevation Accreditation Intern
  • Leadership Intern
  • Marketing & Public Relations Intern
  • Programming Intern

Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, February 29, 2024.

These positions are work-study positions and the OFSL will assist applicants in completing the required work-study application (specifically for merit-based work study for those that may not qualify for need-based work study). We encourage you to apply even if you do not already have a work-study award; merit and need-based work study are available for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled at CSU;
Be eligible for work-study (for our mid-year hire process, you must already have a work-study award to be eligible for employment)
Students must have a 2.5 GPA and be in good academic and disciplinary standing;
Students must have an understanding of and adhere to the mission and vision of the Office;

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
Check e-mail routinely and route as necessary;
Answer phone and route as necessary;
Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as needed for office-related projects;
Provide student staff coordinator with schedule prior to each semester, and notify with any schedule changes;
Assist with document management and maintain accurate records for OFSL accreditation program;
Operate basic office machines such as the copier, scanner, shredder, etc.
Replenish office supplies from the CSU Bookstore as needed;
Participate in and possibly plan professional development sessions;
Clearly communicate with co-workers to ensure that tasks get completed on time in a high-quality manner;
Provide positive customer service;
Direct visitors to appropriate resources;
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly space maintenance;
Open and/or close the office;

Student Intern Program

Thank you for your interest in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (OFSL) Student Intern Program. The OFSL works closely with their interns and will be providing projects and specific job responsibilities as they relate to each intern's personal goals and aspirations.
