Currently, 17 fraternities and sororities live in and own/rent official chapter facilities in Fort Collins, CO. Chapters with a chapter facility are not required to have a live-in house director. However the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life works with house directors serving CSU students, as we see this role as a crucial part of the chapter support team. House directors assist the chapter with facilities/maintenance issues, meal/food issues, and are often a great resource.
In addition, the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life convenes representatives from the house corporation boards from fraternities and sororities with facilities at least once per semester. These meetings offer an opportunity to connect with others that fulfill this role from other fraternities and sororities. It also allows for house corporation board members to share ideas, vendors, and trends that exist for fraternity/sorority housing.
